Jean Weaver (nee DeVincentis) passed away peacefully, in her 100th year on March 9, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Weaver, and the loving mother of William J. Weaver, Jr. (Denise). Jean was an adoring Gram to Nancy Weaver, Katie Viereck (Matt), Kristin Walsh (Tom), and Julie Weathers (Jeremy), and a cherished Great Grammy to Brooks, Thomas, William, Jack, Charlotte, Aiden, Leigh, Ronan, Jude, Delaney, and Lochlan.

Jean was the dear sister of the late Jack DeVincentis and Dolly McCarthy (the late Jack). She is also survived by her sister-in-law Dolores DeVincentis, along with many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jean was born and raised in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia where she proudly attended St. Hubert Catholic High School, class of 1943. She was also a longtime social member of the Quaker City Yacht Club Auxiliary. Jean spent the last 22 years enjoying life in Ocean City, NJ. She had a deep love for her beach town and always welcomed family and friends to sit on her deck. Her warm hospitality and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, March 17, 2025, at St. Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA, from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Dominic Cemetery.  Green was Jean's favorite color, and it being St Patrick's day, please feel free wear your green in her honor.
