Jean M. Strang (nee Black) "The Scottish Lass" passed away February 11, 2023 at the age of 85. Born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, then a resident of Philadelphia for the past 58 years. Loving mother of Alex Strang (Harriet Elfring), and Marian DiBiase (Andrew). Dear grammy of Nicholas and Samantha. She is also survived by her grandpuppies Theo and Bruno. This always-shining 'Daughter of Scotland' inspired others and spread friendship and love wherever she went. A free-spirited Highlander at heart, Jean always made her own way, proud of her heritage, and caring of all around her.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday February 18, 2023 at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 at 1:00 PM. Words of Remembrance are permitted and encouraged by all who attend. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St. Suite 102, Phila., PA 19106 would be appreciated.
