Jeanette D. Seedes (nee Sylvester), formerly of the Fishtown section of Philadelphia, passed away July 6, 2022, at the age of 91. Jeanette was a Gold Star Mother, having lost her eldest son, Harry B. Seedes III, in the Vietnam War. She was a devoted wife through good times and bad, of the late Harry B. Jr.  and loving mother to her remaining children: Terrance, Robert (Dawn), and Donna Healey.  She was a beloved grandmom of Nichole Rae (Dr. Alessio Scott), Ethan, and Kathryn; and she is survived by many nieces and nephews who knew her lovingly as Aunt Jen. She made friends wherever she went and she leaves behind the caring staff and neighbors at the Pocopson Home where she enjoyed the last several years of her life.

All those whom Jeanette's life touched in a positive way are invited to her Celebration of Life Sunday, August 14, 2022, 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM , Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia , followed by her Service 3:00 PM .  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306 in Jeanette's memory would be appreciated.
