Jeannette M. Ambron (née Stark), age 87, passed away on March 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Albert A. Ambron and loving mother of Karen Baker (Tom), Albert Ambron (Lisa), Denise Ambron, Michele Peiffer (Pat), and Suzanne Ehling (Dave). Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents, James & Gertrude Stark, her sister, Alice Borst; and grandson Colin Baker. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; and sisters Elsie Brambilla and Joyce Schemenski.
A proud graduate of Kensington High School for Girls, she devoted her life to her family. She was a loving wife of 35 years and a dedicated stay-at-home mother who raised five children, always placing family at the center of her world. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter and unconditional love.
Jeannette had a special love for the beach and spent many cherished summers in North Wildwood. She could often be found sitting on the porch, enjoying the ocean breeze and chatting with neighbors and anyone passing by. Her friendly nature made it easy for strangers to become friends.
She also loved traveling with her daughters and treasured every opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They brought immense pride and happiness to her life, and she delighted in watching her family grow.
Jeannette will be remembered for her kindness and her unique sense of humor that brought laughter to so many. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored and the countless lives she touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Wednesday evening, 6-8 P.M. and Thursday morning, 8:30-9:15 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114. Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. at Christ the King Church. Interment Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
