Joan Antonucci, 91, Born June 6th, 1926 in Phila. PA., passed away on January 11, 2018, peacefully in the care of Vitas at Nazareth Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents John Gruenwald and Monica Grodl of Bavaria, Germany; husbands Frank H. Layer and Carlo D. Antonucci both of Phila., PA.; and daughter Joan Marie Hollingshead.

She is survived by her son Francis J. Layer (Debbie) of Columbia, SC, daughter Loretta M. Walling (Daniel, Jr.) of Frederica DE., and daughter Nancy M. Antonucci (Starkman) of Hamer, SC. Grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 8, and great great grandmother of 4.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Tuesday morning, January 23, 2018, from 9-9:45 A.M. at St. Jerome Church, 8100 Colfax St., Phila., PA 19136.  Funeral Mass 10 A.M.  Interment Ivy Hill Cem.
