Joan P. Borman (nee Mead), age 82, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Morris Leroy Borman and a loving mother to Nicholas (Elizabeth), Donna Borman, Darren (Donna), the late Daniel C., and David. Joan was the cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, and she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.

Joan was a devoted homemaker and an incredibly loving mother to her five children. Her caring spirit and nurturing nature left an indelible mark on those around her. She found joy in traveling with her sister, Dolores, and was an active member of the Red Hat Society, where she enjoyed many fun times with her close-knit group of friends. Joan also had a special place in her heart for her time spent at the shore, where she made countless cherished memories.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Joan's life at a viewing on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Burns Funeral Home (1428 E. Columbia Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19125). A Funeral Service will follow, with interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

Joan's warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family will forever be remembered, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
