Joan C. (nee Elliott) passed away peacefully on November 12th, two days after her 90th birthday.  Devoted mother to Beth Ann DeWeese (Jeffrey) and the late Gina Busler, who she raised as a single mother.  She is predeceased by her parents Albert and Regina (McLees/McCourt) as well as her brother and sister - John Elliott and Margaret Crompton.  Joan was so happy to have lifelong friendships from early childhood, elementary school, and high school.  She was also proud to have helped many young men and women on their paths to success through her managerial positions in the restaurant and hotel industries.  Many of these folks continued their relationships with her until the day she passed.  Joan was a unique woman - admired and loved by many.  She will be missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, 9:00 AM Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by her Service 11:00 AM.  Interment - Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Joan's memory would be appreciated.
