JOAN DEMARCO
Joan DeMarco (85) went on to her heavenly home on July 1, 2024. She was born on July 24,1938 to Michael and Elizabeth Gunnip. In 1957, Joan met Gene DeMarco and married in January, 1958. Joan was predeceased by her husband Gene and she leaves behind her 5 children Jo Richardson (Mark), Gene Jr., Tony (Jen), Lor and Sherri Demarco and including 18 grandchildren.

Joan will also be remembered by her sister Marie Metz and numerous nieces and nephews. Joan was an exemplary long-time employee of Whitman and Nabisco. She retired and spent her time with family and friends and always looking for an opportunity to shop. Joan's playful and loving nature, combined with her sense of humor and her silly stories made her a joy to be around. She brought laughter and warmth to those who were fortunate to know her.

Services will be held at Washington's Crossing Veteran's Cemetery in Newtown, PA on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 11AM. The service will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together to honor and remember Joan. The family's request for donations to Allegria at the Oaks (6400 Hulmeville Road Bensalem, PA 19020) shows their appreciation for the incredible love and care provided to Joan.
