Joan D. Roberts (nee Hochstuhl) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 75, on August 4, 2025. Daughter to the late Joseph and Gladys Hochstuhl. She was the beloved wife of William for 56 wonderful years. Loving mom of Bill (Theresa) and Dawn Spross (Chris). Cherished Grandmom to Jeffrey (Ahna), Michael, CJ, Jared (Sarah), and Ava. Dear sister to Tony (Peggy) and the late Mae, Joseph, Betty, Louis, Richard, and Hank. Joan is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Joan treasured time spent with her family and found joy in being at home. On occasion, she could also be found enjoying herself at the casino, playing the slots.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 9:00AM–11:00AM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, followed by her Funeral Service. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her devotion to family, and the love she shared so generously.
