Joan B. Torpey (née Sundberg), passed away on August 22, 2024. She was the cherished wife of Stephen Sr. for 43 years and devoted mother to Joseph Cremen (Mara) and Stephen Jr. (Jean-Marie). Joan was a loving Mom Mom to Joseph, Aidan, Peyton, and TJ. Dear sister of the late Doris Tygh and Carol Sundburg.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM St. Katherine of Siena Church. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
