Joan A. Tyler (née Staub) passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 78. She was the beloved daughter of the late William and Clara Staub, and the loving mother of Michele Tyler and Thomas Tyler (Kyleen). Joan was also the dear sister of the late Claire Staub.

Joan dedicated her life to caring for others as a home health aide and had a deep compassion for animals, especially dogs. She was an active dog rescuer and generously opened her home to foster many in need.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
