Joanne T. Pfeifer passed away suddenly on March 11, 2022 at the age of 85. She was loved and cherished by many people including her late husband Joseph. Loving mother to Lisa Brosious (the late Phil), Susan Grosko (Andrew), Anne-Marie Gibbons (Edward), and Joseph Scott (Lynn).  Cherished grandmother to Jeremy (Erin), Laura (Bonnie), Scott Jr. (Katie), Mariah (Trey), David, Nicholas (Virginia), Justin, and Liana. Loving Great-grandmother to Courtney, Josh, and Diana. Joanne was born in Brady, PA but was a life long Fishtown resident, she was one of 13 children growing up. She was a nursing school graduate of St. Marys in 1957 and received her BS in 1985. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday night, March 16, 2022 at Burns Funeral Home (1428 E. Columbia Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19125) from 6PM-8PM, also on Thursday March 17, 2022 at Holy Name of Jesus Church (701 Gaul St. Philadelphia, PA 19125) from 10AM-11AM, followed be her Funeral Mass.
