Joanne M. Steinmetz

Joanne M. Steinmetz (née Moscufo) passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Steinmetz and the former wife of John Ellis. Joanne was the devoted mother of Lori Colflesh (Marc) and the loving Nanny of Adam. Dear sister of Janis Clark (Barry), Margaret “Peggy” Colacicco (Bobby), Kathleen “Kathy” Robinson (Raynor), and John Moscufo. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Joanne had a true zest for life. She especially cherished time spent with her family during the holidays and loved trips to the shore, where many treasured memories were made.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Burns Funeral Home,9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by her Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.
