John Stephen Anderson of Bridesburg, PA, age 61, passed away suddenly. Formerly of Buckingham, Pa, John was a devoted father, loving son, brother, and friend whose life was defined by dedication to family, work, and the passions he loved most.

John was the proud father of Lauren Anderson and Ryan Anderson, and a cherished father-in-law to Jennifer Anderson. John was a loving son to Helen Anderson and was preceded in death by his father Stephen Anderson. He was the loving companion of Roxane Ganster and is also survived by his former wife, Sherryn Anderson. He was a dear brother to Karen Anderson, Christine Bofinger, and Dana Anderson.

John was a graduate of Frankford High School, Class of 1981, and earned an associate's degree in mechanical Drafting from AID Mechanical Drafting School. For 43 years, he dedicated his professional life to the Frankford Plant in Philadelphia, where he worked as a trainer and mentor to countless colleagues. He also proudly served as a union representative, advocating for and supporting his fellow workers. Known for his strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment, John was just days away from retirement, eagerly anticipating the next chapter of his life at the time of his passing.

Outside of work, John was an enthusiastic auto aficionado, taking pride in cars and everything that came with them. He was also a passionate foodie, always eager to explore new restaurants and cuisines. John loved to travel, finding joy in discovering new places and experiences, and he never missed an opportunity to create memories with those he loved.

Cremation services will be private and entrusted to Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
