John M. Colavita, Jr. passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 70, after a courageous 20-year battle with cancer. Son of the late John Colavita Sr. And Dolores "Dolly" Colavita. He was the beloved husband of Alisa Colavita for 30 years and a devoted father to Amy McNamee (Edward) and Rachel Wolbransky (Jason).

John was a cherished Pop Pop to Haley, MaKayla, Skye, Anthony, and Dennis, who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his loving siblings, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran and a dedicated Philadelphia Firefighter for 30 years, John served his country and community with honor. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and listening to the Beatles, but most of all, he treasured time spent with his family and grandchildren.

Services and interment will be held privately.
