John Edward Daily, age 77, of Aripeka, Florida, died May 14, 2022, after a short illness.  Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Helen M. Bevan (nee Tierney) and Robert C. Daily.  John was the beloved husband of April Haddock, father of John Daily Jr., Thomas Daily, Barbara Dolt (Daniel), Tricia Tenaro (Craig) all currently of Delaware, Joshua, Todd, and Michael all currently of Oregon and stepfather to Rebecca (Joe) and the late Stephanie.  He was the cherished grandfather of Harry, Patrick, Alyssa, Mary, Shannon, Melissa, Noah, Anaya, Todd, Jr., Lauren, Maddie, Peyton and Emma, as well as three great grandchildren.  John is survived by five brothers Bob, Pat, Eddie, Herbie (Tina) and Chuckie and seven sisters, Peggy (Bill), Carole (David), Patty, CC, Ruth, Julie (Bill) and Kathy.  John was also the much-loved uncle to 32 nieces and nephews.  John is preceded in passing by his parents, brother Joey, and sisters Claire, and Betty Ann.

John was a lifelong carpenter, builder and small engine repair expert who loved working for himself and proudly owned several small businesses over the years.  Since the late 1970's, John was a long-time resident of Colorado and Missouri before moving to Florida to relax and enjoy the sunshine and mild weather with his wife, April.

John will be remembered for his love of all-things country and western especially his beloved country music, the ability to tackle any carpentry or engine job, fix anything broken, his late-night good night texts, his ability to spin a good story, and his love of all dogs but especially his beloved Jake and Gracie who are gone but never forgotten and current dogs, Bella and Buzzy.

John will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered by many.  Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service, Saturday, June 11, 2022, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA
