John W. Dell, III passed away July 13, 2023. John served his country in the Air Force, then became a master carpenter where he retired and remained an active member of the Carpenters Union Local 158.  John loved all outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing either in upstate PA or the Jersey Shore. Loving dad to John IV (Joanne), Janet Dell-John (Paul) and the late Karen B. Dell, Pop-Pop to Bridget Dell, Anthony John, Sullivan John, Beloved companion to Mary Stoppel, her son  William "Buddy" Stoppel and grandchildren Paige Dempsey, Briana Malseed, Savannah, Olivia and Jake Stoppel. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia PA 19114) from 10:00AM-11:00AM, followed by his Memorial Service and Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
