John died suddenly on the morning of Valentine's Day after a prolonged battle with heart disease.
John was born in Key West, FL at the U.S. Naval Base. He spent most of his childhood in Philadelphia and attended Holy Ghost Prep High School. He graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Culinary Degree, which led to his lifetime love of cooking. He enlisted in the United States Army for four years and later attended the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA where he studied Arabic and was trained as an interrogator. After leaving the Army, he settled in Tallahassee, FL. He worked as a chef while earning his degree in Accounting at Florida State University.
John relocated to the Philadelphia area near his extended family where he earned his CPA and worked as an Accountant. He lived in Chester Springs, PA until his death. He loved the ocean, enjoyed being on the water, and spent his free time fishing. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and exploring new places. He had a wry sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.
John is survived by his daughter Elizabeth (Liz) Dlutowski, his siblings Janine Ehsani, Katherine Autieri, Christopher Dlutowski, and Mark Dlutowski, and eight nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a brief service and interment of his ashes at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020, at noon on Saturday, March 12.
