John S. Gasior, Jr. "Lefty" passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 24, 2022 at the age of 82. A proud retired US Army and Air Force Veteran. Beloved husband of almost 60 years to Mechthild "Mecki" (nee Jourdan). Loving father of Michele Gasior and Christine Gasior. He is also survived by his many loving cousins, especially the Slusarz family, and his dear friends Bob Fisher, Dick Zaniewski, Loretta and the late Butch. John was a retired employee of the Budd Company; he loved flying, especially flying helicopters. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday October 19, 2022 at St. Jerome Church, 8100 Colfax St. Phila., PA 19136 from 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. *Masks are requested in church.* Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, 1513 Race St. Phila., PA 19102 would be appreciated.
