At the age of 70. Loving husband of Trautel (nee Melzer). Devoted father of Kathleen, Doreen Frombach, Nora, and Monika Shanahan (Paul). Dear Pop Pop of Breana, Kalley, Taylor, Kevin, Jennifer, Dwayne and Caroline. Brother of Ronald (Donna). John was a chemist for many years at Rohm and Haas. John was the most selfless husband, dad and Pop Pop, whose greatest happiness came from seeing his family happy. He will forever be remembered for his unwavering generosity and unconditional love. He shared with all who loved him. We will miss him immensely but his spirit will live forever in our hearts. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday 9-9:45 AM at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 followed by his Funeral Mass 10 AM. Interment private.
