John W. Harrison died Thursday, June 16, 2011, at home. He was 76.
John was a laboratory technician, retiring from Certain Teed Corporation in Blue Bell, Pa., in 2008.
He was the loving husband of the late Floann (Bakos).
He was the devoted father of Ronald (Carrin), Tim (Kim), Daniel (Terry), and John; dear Pop-Pop of Nancy Manzo, Dawn Harrison, Erica Harrison, Laura Simon, Bryan Harrison and Melissa Harrison. He also is survived by two stepgrandchildren, Linda Merrill and Alan Merrill; four great-grandchildren, Faith Simon, Joy Simon, Christian Sickler Jr., and Lauren Manzo; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Kyle Mushinski and Tyler Merrill.
John also is survived by one sister, Noretta Ann Freidoff of Windber, Pa.
He was the son of the late Clarence E. "Spud" and Mildred A. Harrison.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Burns Funeral Home, 1514 Woodbourne Road, Levittown. Service will conclude at 9 p.m. Interment will be held privately.
