John "Jack" Penrose passed  February 13, 2021, surrounded by his family.  Beloved husband of 62 years to Joan (nee Owens).   Devoted father of Michele Penrose Huble (the late John Huble), Jackie Hopkins (Tim), Susie Rayle (Rich), Patti Penrose (Tim) and Joni Penrose Yemm (Paul).  Loving Grandpop of 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Patricia D'Ambrosio (George).  An Air Force Veteran, Jack was a retired truck driver for Signal Delivery and a member of Local 107.  A gathering will be held Thursday, April 15, 2021, 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM, Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by his Memorial Service 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Bob Woodruff Foundation, 1350 Broadway Suite 905, New York, NY 10018 in Jack's memory would be appreciated.
