John E. Kelly, ASID, age 67, passed away suddenly on May 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

A devoted son of the late Joseph and Norma Kelly, John was a cherished brother to Thomas Kelly (Theresa), Peg Spiller (Andy), Kevin Kelly, and the late Joe Kelly (Adelaide). He was a beloved uncle to many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom brought him great joy.

John also leaves behind a close circle of colleagues and friends who became like family to him, along with his adored dogs, Junior and Jazper, who were his constant companions.

A graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia, John was proud to be the first person inducted into their Hall of Fame. His passion for interior design led him to a successful and fulfilling career, eventually serving as president of WBC Designs. He poured creativity and care into every project he touched.

John had a love for the water and found peace on boats. One of his most cherished traditions was the annual Kelly Halloween gathering in the Poconos, where what started with a single cabin grew into a family event that nearly filled the entire valley. His absence will be profoundly missed during those special times.

Christmas held a special place in John's heart. He delighted in choosing thoughtful sweet treats and took pride in meticulously decorating each package and present—his personal touch that everyone looked forward to. John's generosity knew no bounds; he truly was one of the kindest souls you could ever meet.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family in wearing white to honor John's life on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:45 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to the Animal Welfare Association , 509 Centennial Blvd, Voorhees, NJ 08043—a cause close to his heart.
