John A. Langjahr, Jr., passed away February 17, 2024. Beloved husband to Deborah Langjahr-Starks. Pre-deceased by his parents John and Stella Langjahr.  Loving Step-father to Tyshea and Cordell. John was also survived by his loving Caine Chewy and the late King John.  Brother to Edna and the late Janet Langjahr and cousin to Emil Nitka. Friend to C/O. Edwards and Althea. John was a Philadelphia Corrections Officer from 1985-2006. John was U.S Army Vietnam Veteran. John was also a proud parishioner of St. Laurentius Catholic Church in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia PA 19114) on March 4, 2024, from 9:00AM-11:00AM, followed by his Funeral Service. Interment Washington Crossings. In lieu of flowers donation's can be made to the St. Jude Foundation in John's memory.
