Age 79, of St. Joseph Manor, Meadowbrook, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at St. Joseph Manor. Born to Mary Lenhardt, he lived most of his life in Philadelphia and Hatboro, PA. A graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Philadelphia, Jack was an enthusiastic fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers. He was a lifelong member Plumbers Local Union 690. We fondly recall that Jack never took phone calls at 7 P.M. during Jeopardy!
Jack was the loving husband of Helen Marie Lenhardt, also of St. Joseph Manor. He is also survived by his stepson Joseph E. Maurer (Linda); daughters Catherine (Lenhardt) Duffy (Jerry), Patricia (Lenhardt) Conners (Timothy); sons John M. Lenhardt and Edward C. Mulligan, and stepdaughter Anne (Riehl) McCann (Charles). He was preceded in death by his wife Alice (Zimmerman) Lenhardt and stepdaughter Diane (Maurer) Lawlor. Jack was extremely loving and proud of his ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
The family will receive friends Monday evening, 6-7:45 P.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave., Phila., PA 19114. Funeral Service 8 P.M. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in his memory to Residents Activity Fund at St. Joseph Manor, 1616 Huntingdon Pk., Meadowbrook, PA 19046.
