John J. Milligan, age 82, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 22, 2025. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Edna (nee DeMaine) Milligan. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Bosak). Devoted father of John Dooley (Michele), Kathleen Malseed (Ed), Timothy Milligan (Maura), and Michelle Milligan. Cherished grandfather of Stacy Master (Fred), Jackie Gerner (John), John Dooley (Amy), Evan Malseed (Briana), Timothy Milligan (Alex), Ryann Milligan and Patrick Milligan. Loving great grandfather of Freddie, Myer, John, Delilah, Johnny, Amelia, Arlynn, Jude, Maisy, Norah Rose, Neave. Adored brother of Margaret Cieslinski (dec)(William), Florence O'Rourke (Tom), Joseph Milligan (dec)(Hilda), Patricia Livewell (dec)(John).

John was a proud former Philadelphia Police Officer. He began his career as a Philadelphia Highway Patrolman retired as a Lieutenant of Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). Former employee of the Philadelphia School Board and finished his career as a beloved delivery man for Primo's Hoagies (NW). A long-time member of the Cape May Chapter of the Emerald Society and AOH. Born and raised in Fishtown where he proudly resided until moving down to his longtime beloved vacation home in North Wildwood. Any friend of John's knew to walk up the driveway for a beer and good conversation.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 29, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at St. Ann Church, 2901 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood, New Jersey 08260. Family and friends are invited to pay respects at 9:00 A.M. that morning at the church. Interment will be at a later date.
