John W. O'Neil passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 8, 2024 at the age of 82. A proud US Navy Vietnam Veteran. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Rowan). Dear brother of Fred O'Neil and the late Maryjane Liebel, Edward O'Neil, Joseph O'Neil, and Theresa Albright. Brother-in-law of Grace Barnes (Ralph), Tom Rowan (Jean), and Mary Rowan. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday August 17, 2024 at St. Matthew Church, 3000 Cottman Ave. Phila., PA from 9:30-10:45 AM followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516 Topeka, KS 66675-8516 or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
