John was retired from Bell Telephone, where he worked for over 40 years.  Besides serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, John also served in the Pennsylvania National Guard for over 30 years.

John was the loving husband of the late Marilyn (nee O'Brien) and the late Annette (nee McAleer).  Beloved father of Shirley McDaniel (Andrew), John Schneider (Maria), Peter Wermuth, and Lisa Falchetta (Jim).  Poppy of John, Joseph (Danielle), Jennifer, Jena (Nico), Peter, and Nicholas.  Great grandfather of Nico, Gio, Anthony, and Declan.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Saturday morning, 9-10:15 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave., Phila., PA 19114.  Funeral Service 10:30 A.M.  Interment Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
