John R. Shevlin passed away suddenly on July 15, 2024 at the age of 65.  He was preceded in death by his parents John and Dina (nee Buonamici) Shevlin.  John is survived by his sister Susan Schleiden (the late Jim) and brother Bob Shevlin (Mary Ellen).  John was also preceded in death by his brother Thomas Shevlin.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

John loved living the shore life in Somers Point, NJ.  He enjoyed fishing, beaching, and seeing live music.  He lived with his beloved cats Purry Como and Sid Vicious.  He was also a big sports fan and loved....loved the Rolling Stones.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 9-10:45 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave., Phila., PA 19114.  Funeral Service 11 A.M.
