JOHN BARES STURTEVANT, a resident of Falls Township.
John Bares Sturtevant passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital after a courageous fight against leukemia surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of Violet "Kelly" Stefani-Sturtevant and his faithful dog Finnigan. Devoted father of Joyce Pappas (Tommy), Kristian (Zambrina), and Kim Kelstone (Aaron). Grandfather of Keenan, Zandra, Tommy, Tyler, Liam, Tatum, and Quinn. Brother of Suzann Garson (Alan), Frederick, Rosanna Sprague (Chuck), Mary Jo Schiefer (Terry), Peter (Jamie), Patrick, Mariclare McCann (Scott), and Thomas (Saramarie). Also survived by many nieces and nephews, a large extended family, and many loving friends.
John was Service Manager for Multi-Flow for 25 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Monday evening 7-9 P.M. and Tuesday morning 8:30-9:00 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 1514 Woodbourne Rd., Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral Mass 9:30 A.M. at St. Francis Cabrini Church. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202 would be appreciated.
