John Lionel Welker passed away on October 06, 2022 at the age of 84.

He was born on March 25, 1938 in Pennsylvania where he grew up and lived until he joined the Air Force. He was based in California and spent a lot of his time with, as he called them, his second family Uncle Bud, Aunt Ruth Welker & their children his cousins who he was very close to.

He loved California so much that he decided to stay and started a family of his own.

In 1985 at the age of 47 he returned to Pennsylvania where he still had many family members who were very happy that he came back "home".

He met and fell in love with his wife Felicia who loves him very much and misses him dearly.

He was very fortunate to have nephews and nieces nearby who cared for him right up to the end; including bringing him lobster bisque, which those that knew him knew of his fondness for lobster every Father's Day, birthday and basically any excuse he could come up with included a good meal of lobster.

He will be missed by his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, his step children

and most of all his loving wife.

I do have to do a special "especially will miss you Dad is your son Tom"  Being the youngest he had the least time with you and will miss you deeply.
