Joseph P. passed June 13, 2021. Son of Kathryn M. Beggin nee Egan and Joseph P. Beggin. Godfather of Kevin M. DeLany (Beth Richards), Kelly Anne Russell, Jessica Diane Weir (Michael Wallen) and William Kennedy (Maureen).Survived by many cousins and their families including Daniel P. DeLany, Veronica A. DeLany, Timothy R. DeLany (Judith), Deirdre M. DeLany (Brian Sullivan), Maura E. Scavetti (Joseph), John Beggin (Carla), Barbara Schaeffer, Thomas Livacz (Linda), Stanley Livacz (Irene), and William Fenerty as well as countless friends including Mary Regina Morrow and James Ciambella.

Joe was a Navy Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class and an active Member of the Frankford Community until his retirement from the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard QA Department. Most recently, Joe was the Historian for the Joseph P. Schickling AOH 61, a genealogist and an active swimmer and gardener at the Waters Edge Community in Philadelphia.

Viewing will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021, 9:00 AM at St. Dominic's Church, 8504 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM. Interment at St. Dominic's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to AOH 61, 4131 Rhawn Street, P.O. Box 65576, Philadelphia, PA 19155 would be appreciated.
