Joseph John Dankowski Sr., age 73 of Millsboro, Delaware, passed away on September 16, 2015 of heart complications.
Joseph loved his family and his friends with all of his heart. He had an endearing charm that made him the memorable, one-in-a-million man we knew and loved. There was no one quite like Joe; he shared his heart and his friendship freely. He will be missed immensely. Joe worked for over 45 years as a banking executive and retired in 2010 to live at the Delaware shore.
Joseph was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbarann in 2012. He is survived by his sons Joseph (Desiree) Dankowski Jr; Michael (Alyssa) Dankowski; his grandchildren, Natasha Ann Dankowski, Joseph John Dankowski III "Tripp" and James Dashiell Dankowski "Dash". He was a beloved brother-in-law to Rosemary Robinson, Dolores Lippincott, Susan (Joseph) Osborne, and George (Michele) Lippincott. He was a caring and loving uncle to all of his nieces and nephew.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 22 from 10:15 am at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 830 N. Franklin St. Philadelphia, PA, followed by a funeral Mass beginning at 11:30. Joseph's internment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, 438 Cedar Road, Fox Chase, PA.
