Joseph resided in Mahanoy City, PA and previously resided in Philadelphia.  Loving husband of Karen Elliss (nee Beltz).  Father of 6 children; Tiffiany Stone (Wynell), Joseph Elliss, Jr., Kathryn Molino (Anthony), Matthew Elliss, Angelina Padilla and Lawrence Padilla.  Also survived by 11 grandchildren; brother of Osceola Elliss (Paula), Lillian "Rusty" Hower (Chuck), Edna Buck (Robert) and the late Rosemarie Elliss and Ruth Donnelly.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday, 4-8 P.M. and Wednesday, 10-10:45 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 1428 E.
