Obituary
Joseph F. Farrell, Sr. passed away July 3, 2022 at the age of 89. A proud Korean War Veteran. Beloved husband of 64 years to Mary "Marie" (nee Cassalia). Loving father of Terri Driscoll, Joseph Jr. (Virginia), and Patty Katzmar (Bill). Dear Pop Pop of Joe, Allison, Joseph, Nicole, Megan, and Elisa. Brother of Robert Farrell and the late Betty. Also survived by his loving nieces and nephews. Joe was a tool and die maker for many years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing in his Seniors Softball league. Joe was a coach for different leagues at Pennypack and Penn Academy. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play sports; he also enjoyed being a lunch dad at St. Tim's/Blessed Trinity and was known as "Mr. Joe." Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday July 9, 2022 at St. Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19136 at 10:00 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment St. Dominic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301 would be appreciated.
