Joseph E. Griffin, age 61, passed suddenly on November 25, 2022. Beloved father of Dr. Brian Gillespie. Son of the late Edward Griffin, Sr. and Kathryn Griffin (nee King). Brother of the late Teddy Griffin, Kenneth Griffin and Michelle (Murawski), Patrick Griffin and Brian (Sturzenacker) and Michael Griffin. Loving uncle of Danielle Sullivan, Jack, Alayna, and Hayden Griffin. Survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Companion of Regina Madden. Dear friend to Kevin, Joseph, and Stanley Waclawski.

Celebration of life Saturday, December 3, 2022. St. Katherine of Sienna Church, 9700 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia PA 19114 Receiving hours 9-10:45 A.M. followed by mass of Christian burial at 11 A.M.
