Passed away on February 9, 2021 at the age of 78. Loving Husband of Carole (nee Coggins). Devoted Father of Shannon Dougherty (Bob) and Christy McCafferty (Keenan). Dear Pop Pop of Caitlin, Casey , Joey, Keenan, Matthew and Kendall. Brother of James (Helen), Dennis (Terry) and the late Walter , survived by his sister in law Denise. Joe was a US Army veteran of Vietnam War , Retired Philadelphia Police Officer from 24Th District also served with Philadelphia School District School Police Also survived by his loving nieces and Nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday Feb.18, 2021 BURNS FUNERAL HOME 9708 Frankford Ave. 9 - 11:15 A.M., followed by his service  11:30 A.M.  Int.
