Joseph C. Kane, age 89, passed away on January 5, 2024.  Loving husband of the late Caroline (nee Hughes).  Beloved father of Joseph, II (Joanne), Michael (Jackie) and the late Carolyn Nicolardi (Thomas).  Grandfather of Thomas Nicolardi IV, Michael Nicolardi (Melissa), Ashley Shackleford, and Michael Kane (Crystal).  Great grandfather of Liliana, James, Levi, Rayna, Anthony, and Gianna.

Joe was born and lived in Kensington and had 11 brothers. He was a devoted husband to Caroline for 46 years. Together they enjoyed traveling. Joe was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp where he proudly served the country he loved. He was a loyal employee of PGW for 40 years. He loved to spend time with family and friends. Later in life he most enjoyed eating at the Dining Car daily.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects Friday, 9-10:45 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave., Phila., PA 19114.  Funeral Service 11 A.M.
