We regret to announce the passing of Joe McGettigan, December 1, 2016, at the ripe age of 86. He was preceded in passing by exactly 49 days by his wife of 64 years, Joan Kathryn. Together they lived a good and full life and traveled the world. Now together they have new worlds to explore. They leave behind their three children Joseph, Stephen and Joan with significant others Nora, Gail and Steve and grandchildren Miranda, Steven, Matvey and Alexandra. Relatives and friends are invited to Joe's viewing on Wednesday, December 7, from 10:30 AM to 12 Noon at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114.
