Joseph Metts, Jr., passed away May 14, 2010 at the age of 69. Born in Uniontown, PA, Mr. Metts resided in Levittown, PA for over 30 years. He served his country during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Army, where he retired after 22 years of service. While in the U.S. Army, he received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star, which he received for heroism.

Mr. Metts is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Dorothy Metts. He is survived by his beloved wife Inge (nee Klein); loving children Robert of Daytona Beach, FL., Peter (Darla) of Brownsville, PA., Henry (Anne), John (Anne Marie), and Brigett Duncan (Matthew), all of Levittown, PA. Opa of Brandi, Jennifer, Peter, Nicole, Seith, Megan, Courtney, Lyndsay, and Caroline. Great Opa of Louis. Also survived by many brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather Friday 9 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 1514 Woodbourne Rd., Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral Service 10 A.M. Interment will be Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
