Joseph V. Pagano passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family. He was the devoted husband of 60 years to Carol Pagano (née Chervenka), with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership.

Joe was the proud and loving father of Joseph (Cheryl), Christina Victor (William), Carol Villamor (Dennis), Nina Parker (Jason), Ann Marie Weaver (Francis), and Jeanette Pagano. He was the cherished Pop of Sophia, Jacob, Alexandria, Anthony, Luke, Isabella, Nicolas, Colin, Dylan, Aiden, and Hannah, who brought immense joy to his life.

He is survived by his brothers, Vincent and Cosmo, and was predeceased by his brothers Anthony and Jack. Joe also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

A skilled butcher by trade, Joe was not only known for his craftsmanship but also for being a trusted friend and mentor to many colleagues over the years. Joe had a gift for storytelling. Whether he was sharing memories from his younger years, recounting a funny moment at work, or passing along bits of wisdom, his stories were always full of warmth, humor, and heart.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
