Joseph J. Sr., born on May 8, 1937 and passed away on January 20, 2017 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Thelma (nee Keen).  Loving dad of Susie (Louis Lanzafame), Joseph Jr., Sandra Morris Cole (Rich), James M. (Judy), Jeanne Kilian (Thomas), and John F. (Maria). Devoted Pop of Jo Jo, Michael, Garrett, Kate, John, Marisa, Madison, Matthew, Christina, Danny, Mia, Charlotte, Cydnee, Tommy, Cammy, and also survived by his brother Augustus, sister Kathleen, and many loving nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday evening January 25th from 6 to 8 PM and Thursday morning January 26th from 9 to 10 AM at the Burns Funeral Home 9708 Frankford Avenue.  Funeral Mass Thursday 10:30 AM in St. Katherine of Siena Church.  Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated by Joe's family.
