Joyce C. Bender (née McKenna) passed away suddenly on August 3, 2020. Loving wife of 48 years to James L. Devoted mother to Kerry Drab(Eric), Brian and the late Shannon. Grandmom to Dylan (Emily), Lucas, and Olivia. Daughter of the late Joseph & Catherine McKenna. Loving sister to Joseph McKenna (Joan) and the late Judith Conroy. Joyce was full of life and to know her was to love her. She was a presence at all family parties with her famous sweets in tow and she had a sweet smile and kind word for everyone she came in contact with. She will he missed by so many, as she was everyone's "Aunt" Joyce. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Saturday August 8, 2020 12PM-2PM at Burns Funeral Home ( 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia PA 19114) followed by her memorial service at 2PM.
