Judith Gliwa (nee McHale), beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 8, 2025, at the age of 82.

Judy was the cherished wife of the late John "Sweeney" Gliwa. She is survived by her devoted son, Matthew (Melissa), her loving daughter, Amanda Broderick (Matthew), and her adoring grandchildren: Abigail, Alexandra, Ashley, and Roman Gliwa; Madeline, Ella, and Shane Broderick. She was the dear sister of Nancy Guinan, Kathy Pollock, and the late Frank McHale. Judy will also be greatly missed by her loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Judy retired after many years of service from GlaxoSmithKline. In her retirement, she found joy in reading, traveling, and most of all, spending quality time with family and friends, particularly her cherished grandchildren, whom she adored.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Christ the King Church, 3252 Chesterfield Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
