Judith E. Palaia (née Spearing) passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 69.

Daughter of the late Robert and Nancy Spearing. Beloved wife of 25 years to Carmen Palaia. Cherished mother of Tanya Kelly Santiago, Dawn Healey, and Dustin Howell (Palaia). Devoted grandmother to Vanessa, Ruben, Aaliyah, Ashanti, David, and the late Alexus, and proud great-grandmother to Alan Jr., Adam, Nathan, Malanie, and Ashton.

Judy was a dear sister to Rebecca, Samuel, David, William "Billy," and the late Wesley, and is lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

She dedicated much of her life to caring for others, working for many years as a nurse's aide in various nursing homes. A passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Judy also found joy in curling up with a good romance novel and, above all, treasured the time spent with her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, beginning at 3:00 PM, followed by a service at 5:30 PM. Interment will be private.
