Katherine E. Alt "Katie" (nee Baker), beloved wife, mother, and Oma, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024. She was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Grace Baker, and the devoted wife of the late John W. Alt.

Katie is survived by her loving children, Ryan J. Biedermann and Raquel K. Alt, as well as her adoring grandchildren, Rylan, Elliot, and Maven. She was the dear sister of Charles Baker (Linda), the late Allison McCool (Dennis), and the late Donald, and sister-in-law to Esther Baker. Katie also leaves behind many cousins and dear friends who will miss her dearly.

Katie's love for life was evident in her many passions. She enjoyed reading, playing board games, and spending time at the beach, where she found peace and joy. A stargazer at heart, Katie was fascinated by the wonders of the night sky. Her love of music was also an important part of her life, and she played the violin with grace.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a viewing on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by her service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Chelten Hills Cemetery.
