Katherine M. Gunn, MA, CACD, LPC (nee Suder) "Kass" passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, at the age of 95.

Through her work as a counselor, and her associate professorship at LaSalle University, she was dedicated to helping individuals improve their lives as well as their relationships to family and the world at large.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward F. Gunn, Jr., and the devoted mother of Edward F. Gunn, III (Darlene), the late Bonnie Gunn, Roseanne Serowatka (John), Joseph Gunn, Jeffrey Gunn, and Christine Runowski (David).  Kass was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother, whose family meant everything to her.  She was also a dear sister to Dolores Day (the late Thomas) and predeceased by her sisters. Joan Horn (the late Ray), Theresa Pickett (the late Gene), Pauline Makovec (the late John).

Relatives and friends are invited to gather Monday, November 17, 2025, 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM St. Katherine of Siena Church (where Kass worshipped) at 9700 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM.  Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers please send donations, financial or materials, to St. Francis Inn ( https://stfrancisinn.org )
