Kathleen Regina Heron

Kathleen Regina Heron (nee Grimmer) passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026.

Beloved daughter of the late Lewis "Harry" and Regina Grimmer, Kathleen was a devoted mother to Joseph Heron, Patrick Heron (Suzy), and Michael Heron (Heather). She was the proud and loving grandmother of Shane, Michael, Rocco, Isabella, Jacob, and Lucas.

She is also survived by her dear brothers Lewis "Harry" (Eileen), James (Marcello), and Christopher (Linda), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kathleen was a proud graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School and dedicated 25 years of service to the Health and Welfare Department of Plumbers Union Local 690.

Kathy cherished spending time with her family, especially their trips to Ocean City. She was a true Philadelphian through and through, with a deep love for her family, her city, and the memories they shared together. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Road, Philadelphia, PA 19114, at 9:00 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
