Kathleen M McDowell (nee Jones) passed away peacefully on November 8, 2023, following a fierce and courageous battle with breast cancer. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, George Jones, sister, Linda Duaime, and her loving husband, William Mcdowell. Born on November 19, 1964, Kathy's life was marked by love, compassion, and a deep devotion to her family. Married to her beloved husband William McDowell for 35 years, Kathy and Bill shared a beautiful journey with one another. Their love was a source of strength and inspirations. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. As a devoted mother, Kathy leaves behind a legacy of love and nurturing. Her children, William (Kristen), James, and Greg McDowell, were the center of her world. Kathy's unwavering support, guidance, and unconditional love were the foundation upon which her children thrived. She took immense pride in their accomplishments and was their biggest cheerleader in every endeavor. Kathy's love extended to her grandbabies, Liam, Maeve, Malcolm, and Asher, who held a very special place in her heart. She cherished each moment shared with them and nothing brought her more joy than having the title of Mom Mom. The doting daughter of Bernice Jones. Kathy was also a loving sister to George (Noel), Edward, and late sister Linda (John) and brother Joseph. In addition to her immediate family, Kathy leaves behind a wide circle of relatives, friends, and acquaintances whose lives she touched deeply. Her memory will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing her. As we bid farewell to Kathleen M McDowell, we take solace in knowing that she is now at peace, reunited with her loving husband, father, and sister.
