Kenneth J. Shaffer, age 69, passed away on November 27, 2024, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer. He was the beloved son of the late George and Frances Shaffer.

Kenneth was a cherished brother to Dennis (the late Dorothy), Richard (Anita), Gerald, Janet Wexler (Harry), and the late George. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A devout Catholic, Kenneth devoted much of his life to serving others as a care worker at Don Guanella Village, where he was known for his compassion and dedication. His faith and commitment to helping those in need were central to his life, and his kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday December 4, 2024 at St. Anselm's Church, 12670 Dunks Ferry Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154, beginning at 9:00 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenneth's memory may be made to the Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence, 20 East Cleveland Ave., Norwood, PA 19074-1207, an organization that was close to his heart.
